On Saturday 17th November, Ian will be hosting a three-hour casting workshop at the Yorkshire Academy of Film and Television Action (YAFTA) on Kirstall Road where he also is a tutor on the academy’s Film and TV production Diploma. The workshop is perfect for those with some, if limited acting experience, and will focus on teaching you how to audition and in front of a top TV director too!

On Saturday 15th December, Ian will also be hosting an acting workshop which is ideal for experienced actors and guaranteed to get you fired up for your next role.

Charlotte Armitage, Managing Director at YAFTA adds:

“We’re so excited to have Ian hosting these amazing workshops. They are jam packed full of useful, insightful and honest knowledge and experience, with practical tips you can take away and put into practice to help progress your acting career.

YAFTA is the ideal place for people passionate about acting and looking to develop their career in film and TV. We are so proud to have a brilliant team of tutors who are so experienced and skilled, it’s a great opportunity for our students to learn from top industry experts!”

YAFTA is an award winning acting academy and talent agency located on Kirkstall Road, opposite the Emmerdale studios. Alongside the workshops, evening and weekend acting classes are available in over 5 locations across Yorkshire for both children, adults and teens and exclusive part time, 18-month Diploma courses in acting, screen writing and Film and TV production are also available.

Both the workshops are open to the public but spaces are strictly limited so to reserve your place head to www.yafta.co.uk or email info@yafta.co.uk
