It’s time to ‘Get Inked’ at The Merrion Centre’s new tattoo and piercing studio

Leeds’s longest standing shopping centre, the Merrion Centre in Leeds Arena Quarter, has announced it is further expanding its dynamic tenant portfolio by being chosen as the primelocation for Rude Studio’s new flagship tattoo, piercing and body jewellery shop.

The new studio, which is due to open in May, will be the 3rd in Rude’s portfolio across Leedsand will offer custom tattooing, semi-permanent make-up, microblading, laser tattoo removal & body piercing by award winning celebrity artist Samantha Myers. It will also be home to an unrivalled range of services under one roof, making it the largest tattoo and piercing shop in the city and will boast the widest range of body jewellery in the north of England, complemented with their very own in-house goldsmith, Emily Rhoden.

Creating two new permanent jobs, Rude Studio will occupy a 784 sq ft retail area on the main mall which will comprise of a state-of-the-art tattoo studio, an enclosed private body piercing room, sterilising room and a welcoming waiting area.

The location choice by Rude Studio reflects the enduring success of the owners of the Merrion Centre, Town Centre Securities (TCS), who continually reinvent and transform it by attracting a diverse mix of shops, restaurants and bars to ensure there is something to cater for every taste, need and budget.
