THE LEEDS COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE

CITY DWELLER MAGAZINE GET AN EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW TO THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED LEEDS COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE

Brush away those post-Summer blues, dust of your dancing shoes and prepare to party like there’s no tomorrow, as The Leeds Cocktail Experience is back!

After the sell-out success of the second party back in March, the pressure to up the ante for part three was high, but we’re confident you’re in for an evening of hedonistic pleasure like no other.

The date to mark in your little black book is Friday 20th October, and the venue is once again the illustrious Aspire, which will be transformed into a cocktail lovers’ paradise for a night of mixology magic. Set across two floors, no less than 15 of Leeds most prolific bars and restaurants will be present, each bringing a bespoke cocktail they believe to be the best in class.

Each bar will be working closely with a premium liquor brand to guarantee the best cocktails are available, all mixed up by some of Leeds’ hottest mixologists. So, who will bring the noise when it comes to shaking up the perfect concoction? Could it be Cocktail Experience veterans, such as Jakes, who have teamed up with Grey Goose to create the cheeky Perci Pig Juice? Could the Maven’s Ketel One creation, The South Pacific, tickle your fancy instead, or will Oracle reign supreme with their melon and Bacardi-fuelled Alice’s Adventures? 2017 has seen the arrival of some amazing new brands to Leeds, with each one adding something unique to the vibrancy of our flourishing city, and guess what – they’re all here. Yes, the third event is set to be something of an international affair, with all four corners of the globe in check to take you on a taste trip you won’t get elsewhere.

Tattu has dazzled Leeds foodies since its early summer arrival, and they will be there to show everyone what the fuss is all about with an amazing Asian- inspired creation entitled The Elixir of Life, which features Jinzu Gin. Heading across the pond for a bite of the Big Apple is D&D’s latest firebrand, East 59, who will be bringing a NYC flavour to the party with their Ciroc collaboration, The Midtown.

Also taking inspiration from New York will be Neighbourhood, who are the hotly-anticipated new addition to Greek Street, having wowed in Manchester for the last few years. They’ve cosied up with Tanqueray 10 to produce their pretty pink Cute AF cocktail.

Living Ventures will also be making waves on the night, with the opulence of The Alchemist and the dive-bar party vibes
of Red Door both on the bill. Elsewhere, you can expect top- notch tipples from Revolucion De Cuba, The Botanist, Vice
& Virtue, Bar Soba and Mans Market amongst others.

To ensure the Leeds Cocktail Experience retains its solid reputation, there will be DJ’s dropping an eclectic mix of floor-filling beats. Our VIP lounge hosts for the evening will be none other than Angelica’s, who have a solid reputation for providing luxury hospitality for the city’s high-rollers.

Once again, the event has been put together by the PR and Marketing tour de force that is Hairy Lemon and Pink Gorilla, who have left their competition for dust when it comes to glittering launch parties in 2017.

Upgrade to a Golden Ticket and you can beat the crowds with queue jump, two cocktails and a VIP welcome cocktail from Angelica’s.

With their finger firmly on the Leeds pulse, it was only a matter of time before they produced a party-centric night of their own.

Jordan Odu, Director of Pink Gorilla, had this to say about the forthcoming event:

‘’After a blistering 2016 of Leeds launches and our very own sell-out event in March, we wondered how we’d top it, but Leeds has smashed it in 2017 and is now rivalling Manchester as the countries premier party city.

We’re delighted to see the return of the city’s most established brands, as well as newcomers such as Red Door, Tattu and East 59. We’ve always focused on the party aspect of our events, to ensure the night is as much about having fun as it is showcasing the biggest and best cocktail bars Leeds has to offer.

I’m confident this will be our best night to date and is a great way to kick off the party season in style – we look forward to welcoming you on the night!’’

Early bird tickets for the event are priced at £15 plus booking fee, which includes not one but two cocktails, with additional drinks available for £5 each. Standard tickets are also priced at £15 plus booking fee, which includes entry and one cocktail.
