Actor Scott Michael Wagstaff, who has spent many years living in Leeds and since has previously worked in the city on a TV pilot, appears in a chuckle filled feature film The Time Of Their Lives playing opposite Joan Collins and Pauline Collins.
Scott was cast in the film by Casting Directors Ros and John Hubbard who have cast films such as Tomb Raider, The Mummy, The Lord Of The Rings.
Scott told us at Leeds City Magazine, ‘It was great to be called in by a couple of the most well known casting directors in the country who work on such huge titles along with very well known actors. I had to read for the role with John Hubbard himself who was a delight to read for. The best bit was I actually went in for a role that didn’t play opposite Joan to begin with but after the Director saw my tape he ended up wanting me for a better role that actually played opposite Joan and Pauline which was a brilliant surprise”.
Scott also says that “being on location for the film was a joy, there were so many hard working members of cast and crew but who certainly knew how to have a good time too, it was also great to work with an Oscar nominated Director who was very humble and appreciated all parts of my performance. A delight.”
The Time Of Their Lives was released Friday 10th March in cinemas Cineworld, Picturehouse, Vue & Odeon across the country, so you can catch it in cinemas now.
