Celebrating the 40thanniversary of 2Tone 1979 -2019
Millennium Square, Leeds will play host to a live outdoor performance by The Dualers, Bad Manners, From the Jam & Death of Guitar Pop on Sunday 11 August 2019 as part of the annual Summer Series.
Celebrating the 40thanniversary of 2Tone which was created by the founder of The Specials & 2Tone Records Jerry Dammers in 1979, the 2019 Leeds Ska & Mod Festival will delight the audience with a spectacular concert featuring an array of hugely popular songs including Johnny Too Bad, A Town Called Malice, Rickety Old Train & Special Brew.
Joining legendary Mod and Ska bands; From the Jam and Bad Manners at the event are The Dualers. Led by lead singer Tyber Cranston, the South London based Ska band which one can only be described as a mixture of UB40 & The selector rolled into one, are selling out venues as soon as tickets go on sale!
Another London based ska band who will be appearing in Leeds for the first time are Death of Guitar Pop led by singers Oliver Hookings & Jonny Hicks. Described as the 4thgeneration of Ska they are already being hailed as the new Madness, their influences are Madness (of course!) Ian Dury & The Clash amongst others!

Pre-release tickets for the Leeds Ska & Mod festival will be on general release priced at £34 (including booking fees). A group ticket for 4 or more tickets will also be available.
