New car parking deals, shopping initiatives and incredible offers mean that it’s never been better to shop at Leeds Markets
Having been named Britain’s Favourite Market for the second year in a row by the National Association of British Market Authorities, it’s a great time to shop at the recently refurbished Leeds Kirkgate Market.
It should come as no surprise that they won either! Leeds Kirkgate Market is one of largest indoor markets in Europe and a shopper’s paradise selling everything from fresh food, fashion, jewellery, flowers and hardware. With around 170 traders currently in the market, there’s always something interesting to buy, try, see or do. They also compliment this offering with an extensive events schedule, including Vintage Markets, Record Fairs and more.
But it’s not just high quality goods you’ll find, it’s also incredibly good value for money especially with the introduction of two parking offers from both the NCP and Victoria Leeds.
People spending £5 at the market will be able to reduce the cost of an up to two hour stay when using the nearby NCP car park by £2. Market customers will pay £3.60 for a stay of up to two hours at the 600 space car park on New York Street. Shoppers can validate their NCP ticket at the market information centre, at the bottom of row J, on production of receipts totalling £5 from Kirkgate Market traders dated the same day. Or you can park at Victoria Leeds’ multi storey car park next to John Lewis for just £2 an hour for up to 4 hours.
But that isn’t where their brilliant initiatives end. The Shop and Drop scheme means you can take your time picking out fresh ingredients for your dinner party or restocking the family fridge with essential items on your way to work and collect at the end of the day on your way home.
Using their custom-built cold store facilities they can guarantee that your shopping will remain fresh ready for your collection. You can also store heavier items for collection at a later time, so whether it’s a feast for the family or that antique cabinet you’ve had your eye on for a while they’ll take care of it for you.
So now there really is no excuse not to shop at Britain’s Favourite Market. To find out more, why not follow them on Twitter
