The quirky club is a scene of old-meets-new. The walls are decorated with amazing pieces of artwork that will transport you straight back to the 90’s with brightly coloured lighting and cosy booths. Neon lights pave the way through the club, with bright signs and retro look drinks booths.
Located on Lower Briggate just above Queens Court in what’s now known as one of the safest and friendliest area’s of the city for nightlife, The Freedom Quarter. Where you can also enjoy the popular Queens Court, and close to the now famous landmark the Rainbow Bridge. The venue has recently had a £240k stunning refurb, making this the second venture for PopWorld in Leeds. PopWorld has a retro theme and they play a range of music from the 80’s 90’s & 00’s. This is definitely one of Leeds must see bars.
Don’t forget to dress up if you like, as it’ll make jumping around to anthems from Kylie, Culture Club, Duran Duran and U2, all the more fun. There is no dress code, no age discrimination, no sex discrimination, just a great dance floor, a bar and the best music in Leeds! The staff are well trained, friendly and genuinely want to see you enjoy your night out. We get the impression nothing would be too much trouble.
PopWorld is very different from other Leeds nightclubs, first timers to the club will be instantly hooked on their unique approach. It is this no nonsense attitude to nights out in Leeds that is going to pack them out every weekend.
