A night of glitter, sequins, feather boas and lace front weaves. Yes, Queen Bee is back for 2016.
Darker, sexier and more fabulous than ever, Queen Bee 2016 is confirmed to take place on November 22nd and for a second year at the stunning Marriott Hotel Leeds.
Last year the Drag Pageant raised over £6,000 for organisations that help people in our region with mental health, bullying and sexual health issues.
The event was created to raise awareness among the LGBT* and wider community that more needs to be done to support those suffering internal and external torment and the organisations that offer an invaluable service to those in need. Queen Bee will see amateur and semi professional drag artistes take to the stage to showcase themselves in a bid to win the title of Queen Bee 2016. Along with the coveted title, the winner will also get to perform on stage at Leeds Pride 2017 in front of thousands of people!
A select judging panel and the audience themselves will decide the fate of this years’ contestants! Brilliantly entertaining from start to finish and all for a great cause, the evening will also feature guest performances and a prize raffle. As well as individual tickets, table tickets are also on sale for the event, seating up to 10 people, ideal for a workplace outing this November!
All monies raised from ticket sales and on the night will be going to this years chosen charity organisations which are; Yorkshire Mesmac, STOP Hate UK and Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service.
This year’s event will take place on November 22nd at the Marriott Hotel Leeds. For tickets, to enter and for more details check out their website: queenbeeleeds.co.uk
