Caroline hosts the Radio Aire Breakfast Show Monday – Friday 6 – 10am. Local lad from Otley, Carl is on the Home Run show weekdays 3-7pm, getting you home with plenty of music and the latest traffic and traffic

Sing as One – Leeds City Council Choir
The Sing as Onechoir formed in September 2015 as part of Leeds City Council’s wellbeing strategy. The choir is for colleagues to get away from their desks to sing. The choir is led by Charlie Gower-Smith, a freelance musician who works with choirs across the region. Each term they learn new songs and challenge themselves by performing at various events taking place across the city including International Women’s day and Leeds Pride.
Jordan is currently performing in Kinky Boots in the West End. Jordan was a Sainsbury’s employee up until starting performing in Kinky Boots and is a huge supporter of what Sainsbury’s are trying to achieve through their Proud@Sainsburys network. His family still work for Sainsbury’s so Sainsbury’s in his genes!
Priscilla Queen of the Desert Showcase
Priscilla Queen of the Desert Showcase performed by Huddersfield Musical Theatre Company. The show is a heart-warming, uplifting adventure about 3 drag queens who hop aboard a battered old bus, Priscilla, searching for love and friendship. They journey across the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed of. Featuring a hit-parade of dance floor classics, this eye-poppingly extravagant show is one not to be missed. The full show will be at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, November 7th-11th. Sonia – a personal appearance
Sonia is a British singer from Liverpool, known for her huge success in the 80s and 90s. Sonia Evans’ debut single “You’ll Never Stop Me from Loving You” was released in 1989 and shot to No: 1 in the UK selling a staggering 350,000 copies. Numerous TV appearances revealed her bubbly personality and natural enthusiasm endearing her to a large audience. “Everybody Knows”, her debut album sold half a million copies and included top singles such as “Can’t Forget You”, “Listen to your Heart” and “Counting Every Minute”.

Winners of the New Conservatory Acoustic Summer Battle in conjunction with Leeds Pride. Tranqua Lite are a 3 piece band from Leeds who describe themselves as a high octane acoustic alt rock trio from Leeds. Idyllic and melodic their original sound is making inroads into the Leeds Music scene.
Five piece Leeds based indie rockers The Brazen formed in 2015, after being brought together by their shared musical influences including the Stone Roses, Queen, the Who and classic British brit pop melodies. They have recently gained the support of BBC Introducing and are about to go out on tour.
Graduate of Leeds College of Music, 20 year old Lucy Whittaker’s punchy Electro Pop sound, teamed with her energetic performances are fast generating her a reputation as ‘one to watch’ with a strong and rapidly increasing fanbase. Her debut single reached #1 on the Hype Machine ‘Popular on Twitter’ chart, and gained international radioplay, whilst her latest release ‘I’m Not Ever Coming Back Again’ hit 18k views within week 1, and gained support from BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire.
Paul Stone is a Yorkshire born swing singer who has worked with a host of huge names in the industry, including legendary song writer Diane Warren. He has also received support from local press and even the BBC with DJs Steve Wright and Paul O’ Grady praising him on Radio 2.

Winner of this year’s Queen Bee competition – Boo Gatti is an up and coming Drag Queen and a regular on the Leeds scene. A fully trained dancer, model and performer and clothes designer.
At 16, he was the youngest act on The X Factor in 2009, finishing 5th in the competition. Since X Factor Lloyd has toured with his older brother in a naked comedy show Up4ameet, had the leading role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Techni-coloured Dream Coat and performed in various shows such as West End on the Rock.
Blonde Electra are a London-based, Americanised British pop duo made up of sisters Ruby and Jazzy King. Blonde Electra have been making music all their lives and their debut single “Radio” released earlier this year is a new exciting part of their journey. Their eccentric and colourful image is inspired by their aunt, pop icon and music mogul Cher.
