World-class aerial acrobats will perform daring high line performances at Trinity Leeds as part of this year’s Light Night event.
Set to be one of the highlights of the annual cultural spectacular, Cirque Bijou will perform a daredevil moon walk, suspended 60 feet high.
The cutting-edge live performance, called ‘Moon Beam,’ will be set against a stunning light show on the illuminated Trinity Leeds glass dome, and aims to push the boundaries of contemporary circus, aerial acrobatics and street theatre.
Dan Wharton, Marketing Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Light Night is one of the brightest occasions in our calendar and we are excited to welcome Cirque Bijou to Trinity Leeds to share something truly unique with the public.
“The extremely talented team at Cirque Bijou aim to create an unforgettable show and we’re confident it will be a show stopper at this year’s event.”
Hourly performances will take place within the main atrium, outside the Apple store, from 7pm till 10pm on Thursday 4th October and Friday 5th October. Each performance will last around 10 minutes.
