Over the last couple of years Leeds has seen its fair share of pop and street food eateries, however nowhere has seen as much footfall as the infamous Trinity Kitchen due to its buzzing atmosphere and around the world food vendors.
One busy Wednesday evening saw myself and friend Harry set upon the well established Trinity Kitchen just above the Trinity shopping centre right in the heart of Leeds.
Trinity Leeds have identified a clear opportunity to expand on their kitchen venture and launch the new private event space. Looking at this space, it is very attractive and appealing to both corporate and private events. This is a must for any company that are looking for something that little bit different to the usual sit down formal meal.
What I really loved was the central space that now has a dance floor, deejay setup and a very impressive lighting array. It’s very much a space that I will be looking to book for my Birthday as it holds an impressive 1000+ people and has a license to 1am.
With a concept that is completely unique, Trinity Kitchen combines six new street food vans every eight weeks with the permanent food and drink options available to offer a fantastic street food experience in a vibrant and colourful setting for your event. An exciting space perfect to host amongst other things drinks receptions, awards evenings, product launches and company celebrations!
On the evening many of the food vendors put on tasters of what they had to offer, again offering something for everyone which I feel is massive now the vegan industry has now grown so large in recent years.
New vendors to trinity kitchen include Chez Joel, which displays its dishes such as its beef bourguignon, French-style burgers and signature marinated roast chicken and offers something a little more luxurious for lunch.
Heck, Yorkshire-based, family-run business is serving signature hot dogs, veggie power bowls, and its signature ‘Chicken Meatzza’ loaded with delicious pizza toppings, they have become a supermarket favourite with something for everyone.
Wanderer Junk Food, For all the vegans, Wanderer Junk Food is the perfect choice. Featuring cauffalo wings, Chilli Cheese Dogs and burgers, their menu is dirty food with a clean conscience.
Dim Sum Su which was my favourite food of the evening, served soft Bao buns…. They offer street food the way it is done in Hong Kong, Dim Sum Su specialises in the finest of foods, handmade dumplings, crispy wontons and pork bello bao. Bitesize and incredibly moreish, this award-winning vendor is the place to go for all your dim sum needs. My needs were certainly met.
Theres also the infamous Absurd Bird, who supplied us with endless amounts of luscious chicken wings….
