Lindsey Benson checks out The Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds.
And just like that, the summer was over! The jeans are back out, my so-called April showers raincoat came out in full swing, as usual when it’s Leeds Festival weekend. (P.S I hope you had a cracking time if you did go, despite the weather!) We can all feel the dip in the heat and dare I say
it, I’ve heard some folk have even turned on their heating! But even the change in the weather does not make me blue, no sir! I can feel the change in wardrobe coming in thick and fast. If you haven’t already made your first purchase of a Summer to Autumn transitional piece, now is the time to start looking. I have a cheeky little round up of the fashion stores in our fabulous Trinity Leeds shopping centre to give you the inspiration you need.
Whatever your style, shape or age there is a choice of fashion to meet your needs.
The popular high street favourites are looking great at the start of the season. For both male and female selections, River Island, Topshop, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Marks & Spencer’s, Next, Primark and New Look are showing to be leading the way with the popular trends such as 90’s grunge, Heritage checks and houndstooth prints, Animal print plus many more. Replay, Hollister and Superdry are also stores that stock both male and female products and they too look to be on the ball with Autumnal colours and individual trends. Office, Deichman and Skechers do fabulous shoes that are leading the way in the trend stakes!
The main stores for children’s fashion are H&M, Next, River Island, Primark and M&S. You will find not only basics and school uniform at these high street stores but they also have key trend pieces that have filtered down through the fashion shows ready for the new season. Shoe options at Office and Footlocker as well as Deichman and Skechers are also showing trends as well as Back to School selections.
Suits and smart tailoring for men are also following styles and lines shown in the shows over the last few months. Moss Bros, Burtons and Charles Tyrwhitt are all great stores at Trinity to give you tailoring choices.
If sport is more your style, Adidas and of course, home to one of our cities favourite teams, LUFC have a store at Trinity.
Ladies only fashion also boasts Mango, Oasis, Coast, Dorothy Perkins, Warehouse and our American sister stores, Victoria’s Secret and PINK. Again, these stores are showing key pieces ready to transition into the new season and deal with the forthcoming temperatures.
