Grand Opening of Rosa’s Thai Cafe in Trinity Centre
Rosa’s Thai Cafe, the renowned restaurant group founded by Thai Chef Saiphin Moore, is set to open its first location in Leeds on 4th May at the Trinity Centre. To commemorate the occasion, diners visiting the restaurant between 4th and 6th May will enjoy a 50% discount on their food bill.
A Taste of Authentic Thai Cuisine
Established in 2008 by Saiphin and her husband Alex in East London’s famous Brick Lane, Rosa’s Thai Cafe has earned a solid reputation for its robust flavours and dishes inspired by Saiphin’s upbringing on her family’s farm in Northern Thailand. The restaurant combines the finest fresh British produce with traditional Thai ingredients, such as coconut milk, jasmine rice, and tamarind paste—the key component in their best-selling Pad Thai (from £7.95). These ingredients are sourced directly from farmers in Thailand.
Varied Offerings to Suit Every Palate
Visitors to the new Leeds establishment can anticipate comforting Thai favourites, such as Red Curry with Chicken and Pineapple (£11.25), as well as lesser-known dishes like Spicy Grilled Steak Salad (£11.95). Vegetarians and vegans are also well catered for, with meat-free options like the flavourful Butternut and Cashew Stir-Fry (£8.50) and the rich Stir-Fried Aubergine (£8.50). Furthermore, most dishes can be made vegan upon request.
The Dining Experience at Rosa’s Thai Cafe
The 140-seat restaurant features indoor seating for 60 guests and an additional 80 al fresco spots. A terrace with stunning city views allows diners to soak up the summer sunshine. The interior design boasts a contemporary and vibrant atmosphere, with rich red and green furnishings complementing the white walls. Brass and marble elements, along with an abundance of foliage, add an elegant and luxurious touch.
Excitement for the Launch
Rosa’s Thai Cafe Founder Saiphin Moore expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming opening, stating: “We can’t think of a better place to open our next Rosa’s Thai Cafe. The Leeds restaurant scene is thriving, and it’s such an inspiring place for foodies—we look forward to joining them.” Saiphin also mentioned that she is already brainstorming ideas for Leeds specials to be introduced later in the year.
