Leeds Ticketmaster customers have crowned Leeds Festival as the Leeds Ticket of the Year 2016.
In the global survey, Leeds Festival was closely followed by Jeff Lynne’s ELO First Direct Arena performance, and Little Mix to be crowned the cities Ticket of the Year.
Standing out from the starry list of world famous musicians was the Carnival of Madness event which took place in February, placing ahead of chart sensation Mariah Carey and musical legend Neil Young.

Overall, Coldplay were awarded global and UK Ticket of the Year 2016, with their Wembley Stadium show voted the number one ticket.
Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams tour has sold over 1M tickets this year, so it’s no surprise they have dominated the Ticket of the Year 2016 – both globally, and in their homeland.
