Meet the team at Nuffield Health
Fitness & Wellbeing Gym
David Butler from Nuffield Fitness & Wellbeing Gym introduces us to one of their wonderful receptionists Kelly Wood!
Busy mum of two Kelly Wood first joined the reception team back in 2015, intending to stay for just six months, two and a half years later and she’s still here!
Kelly has always worked in customer facing jobs, so has a wealth of experience dealing with the general public. Having two children and a job can be quite a juggling act but it’s one she manages really well. Kelly explained one of the main reasons she decided to stay on after six months was how much she enjoys the social aspect of working here at Nuffield Health. She says she has grown very fond of both staff and members. The staff certainly view her as a great person to have around both from a personality and a ‘wise owl’ point of view.  Her warm and kind nature is something the members here at the club love and makes her one of our most popular members of the team.
Having two children who are growing up fast obviously makes Kelly very health and fitness conscious. And although this club is adult only, one of the perks of Nuffield Health is that you can use other clubs, so she regularly takes the children swimming to the Cottingley branch. Members obviously have this privilege too, which is great if you have children or work away from Leeds.
Kelly’s workout routine consists of a mainly cardio workout, which she does two to three times a week. This keeps her fit and gives her the extra energy to keep up with Jake who is four and Holly, now eight. Chester the spaniel is a fairly new addition to the family and ensures long healthy walks are now part of the family’s fitness routine.
Kelly loves the member interaction she gets at the club, we have so many regular clients and it’s nice to be able to catch up with what they have been doing, whether that’s where their last holiday was or little James first day at school. Our members matter to us very much and it’s nice to be able to take the time to find out about their lives and show a genuine interest. This is something that we constantly get feedback on regarding Kelly, how engaging she is and what a genuine pleasure it is to have her around.
So if you would like to experience Kelly’s amazing customer service skills why not come along and try out the gym. Simply give us a ring to book your exclusive City Dweller Magazine free trial.
